Karen Kimmel is in her 20th year of working in school business administration, serving in her current role as the Chief Business Official/Assistant Superintendent of LVUSD since 2007.  Prior to joining the district, Ms. Kimmel worked in private industry for 10 years in the capacities of comptroller and vice president of finance, as well as achieving her CPA license while working as an auditor for Deloitte and Touche. Ms. Kimmel’s areas of responsibility include Maintenance & Operations, Facilities, Budget, Payroll, Accounting, Purchasing, Transportation, Child Nutrition, Risk Management and the operation of the district’s Performing Arts & Education Centers.
