Dr. Jacqueline Duncan currently serves as the Principal of Bay Laurel Elementary School. She has sixteen years of experience in the field of public education, and has worked as a high school Social Sciences and English Language Development teacher, Assistant Principal, and district Administrator of Data and Teacher Support. Dr. Duncan holds a doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC. Her doctoral research focused on identifying the knowledge, motivation, and organizational resources needed for educators to effectively manage workplace stress. Her passion and interest as an educator are in areas of equity, social-emotional learning, and culturally responsive school practices. She serves ACSA (Association of California School Administrators) Region 13 as the Equity Council representative. Dr. Duncan is very proud to be a part of the Las Virgenes Center for Educational Excellence, and is excited to serve as a PASC Instructor , PASC Fieldwork Supervisor, and CASC Coach.
