After a mentor coached her into becoming a teacher, Dr. Clara Finneran has served as an educator for nearly 20 years, leading to her current role as the Assistant Superintendent of Education for Las Virgenes Unified School District.  She has been a transformative site administrator at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, relying on her passions for relational leadership, data-driven decision making, and equity. She has been a local and state leader with the Association of California School Administrators, and is fluent in Spanish and American Sign Language.  Dr. Finneran holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from USC, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from the University of San Francisco, a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Portland, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Spanish, and Theology from the University of Notre Dame.
